Overload Protection System for Overhead/Gantry Cranes


For safety of human beings and machinery overload protection is used with hoisting devices. The tecsis system CPS2 guarantees smooth and reliable operation of cranes. It is used for overhead/gantry cranes to measure and monitor loads and protect against overload. The actual load is compared to two limit values. The cut off relays can be configured via an internal keypad. Features: input signal 2 x 4-20 mA, 1 analogue output signals 4-20 mA, 2 freely programmable switching points, DIN rail mounting, easy mounting, fast set-up, configuration via built-in keypad, display module in clear text, and temperature range -20 …+70°C. Applications: overload protection for overhead/gantry cranes, steel production, and endangered tilting hoisting devices.
