Rotem Industries ? Israel provides under water area nuclear radiation monitors. These under water area monitors are used for monitoring of low dose rate areas (ISFSI ? Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installations), environmental monitoring low-level radioactive waste material surveillance, emergency response surveillance, at shipping of radioactive material and underwater surveys. These monitors are GM tube detector based consists of three parts: the meter box, which includes detector?s electronics, display and operating pushbuttons; the probe head, which contains GM tube; and connecting cable, which is fitted with quick-connect type connectors at each end. The probe head feature watertight sealing to allow for use in underwater applications up to 20 metres deep. The probe head may be located near a filter cube, radiation waste stream, resin tank, or even inside the fuel pool. Data collected at the probe will be transferred to meter and also to the PC by RS-232 interface. Range of dose rate detections available in the range of 10 ?R/h to 4 R/h, 10 mR/h to 1000 R/h and 1 R/h to 15,000 R/h
