Chandramukhi Impex, an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, is a leading manufacturer and exporter of a full range of industrial garments. This includes work wear, fire retardant apparel, uniforms, kids and casual wear, and leather gloves. The company, a government recognised Star Export House, was launched in1994 for export of cosmetics and toiletries to Russia and later diversified into the industrial garments business with focus on exports to the Middle East Asian countries. For fire retardant apparel the company primarily uses imported Nomex® IIIA brand fabric certified by Dupont. These products are for use in refineries, fire-stations, iron and steel plants, etc. These garments offer superior thermal protection and are able to withstand multiple washes. Manufacturers worldwide prefer Nomex over other brands due to the inherent fire retardant properties of the yarn unlike exterior fire retardant treatment. The company can also provide Pyrovatex® and Protex ® brand garments.
