The Programmable System-on-Chip – PSOC® Starter Kit is designed to get acquainted with Cypress’s PSOC programmable system-on-chip design methodology and architecture. This full-featured starter kit ships with requisite peripherals, projects, and software to allow the users to evaluate PSOC and see what values the solution can provide them. PSOC board specifications: processor – M8C CY8C21x34 processor; flash – 8K flash program storage; SRAM – 512 bytes SRAM data storage; serial – full- or half-duplex UART automotive; and temperature range – 40°C to +85°C. PSOC board features: M8C CY8C21x34 processor speeds up to 24 MHZ; 2 comparators with DAC references; up to 10-bit single or dual, 24-channel ADC; 8 to 32-bit timers, counters, and PWMs; connectable to all GPIO pins; full- or half-duplex UART; 8K flash program storage; 512 bytes SRAM data storage; in-system serial programming (ISSP); partial flash updates; flexible protection modes; and EEPROM emulation in flash.
