Insulation Net

Saillon India has designed an Insulation Net to stabilise and reinforce rolled or blown insulation. This net secures insulation without deforming or displacing it. It will not compromise R-vales, and will not rust, rot or corrode. It is lightweight, easy to install, and easier to work with than metal reinforcement. Insulation net is used to support insulation materials between floor rafters or in vertical wall insulation and is simply installed by stapling or tacking to the rafters or vertical struts. The insulation net is allowed to sag between the rafters and will support a depth of insulation from 100 mm to over 250 mm. A single thickness of insulation net can span rafters up to 450 mm apart and a double thickness up to 1200 mm. stronger nets for heavier installation or extra wide spans can also be supplied. The net is manufactured from fully UV stabilized polyethylene; it is rot proof and chemically resistant. When correctly installed into an enclosed roof or wall, it will provide support indefinitely. Netting offers several advantages over insulation supports. It doesn't rust or retain moisture and once installed, provides easy access to structure for expansion or repair. Plastic netting is often utilised to support insulation under roofs, in vaulted ceilings, garage overheads, in both sidewalls and knee walls, in fireproof spray applications, as well as in numerous other specialty applications. Netting is commonly used in new construction, as well as in the insulation of existing structures. It is light-weight, economical, fast and easy to install. It is generally stapled into place. Insulation netting will not rot, rust or mildew. It does not contain sufficient mass to promote flame spread or to add fuel or toxicity to a fire. As the uses vary, the insulation netting comes in various opening sizes and various widths.
