Zinc Flake Coating

NG Coaters offers Zinc Flake Coating. Areas of application: fasteners, bolts, nuts, rivets, screws, and other threaded hardware; springs, spring steel parts, clips, clamps, brackets and other stamping parts; and brake discs, brake drums, brake rotors, etc. Zinc flake coatings are non-electrolytically applied, and provide good corrosion protection. Zinc flake coatings consist of a mixture of zinc and aluminium flakes, which are bonded together by an inorganic matrix and integrated lubricants for adjusting coefficient of friction. Characteristics and coating performance: application method – dip spin or spray; micro layer coating – low thickness around 10 microns; sacrificial behaviour; excellent wind shield cleaner, petroleum, gasoline and auto fluids resistance; inorganic solvent resistance; corrosion protection – red rust/metal corrosion, high SST life>1000 hours (as per ASTMB117); insulation – delays contact corrosion, electrical conductive; heat resistance – 300°C; anti freezing in cold climates; improved wear resistance; free from hydrogen embrittlement; chromium free, environment friendly, and no toxic metals.
