Zinc Electroplating

Wires & Fabriks offers electroplating of zinc on various non ferrous wires. Coating can be done for a thickness of 5 micron with a maximum tolerance of 1 micron. It can be provided on base wire diameter 0.10 mm to 1.00 mm. The advantage of zinc includes high cutting rates, low vapour pressure and high affinity to oxygen. Zinc is also environment friendly. Thickness of coating and thickness of base wire depends on requirements for precision, tolerances, cutting rates, process stability and automation.
