Rust preventive, water based

A unique economical water based rust preventive for short term rust protection of all ferrous metals is now available with Prosol Chemicals. Hydro RP water based rust preventive chemical provides protection for various steel and cast iron components up to 8 weeks in in- doors. It is ideal during inter machining storage of components. Hydro RP is to be diluted in water at 1:5 to 1:10 ratio and hence works out to be economical. It does not contain any petroleum based oils and does form thick oil films on the surface of the components, thus eliminating the need for subsequent cleaning/degreasing prior to other operations which is the major problem in oil based rust preventives. It can also be used as a passivating chemical. Hydro RP can be applied to components by dip application or by spray (especially in industrial washing machines or conveyorised wash ing systems).
