Aero Tech Plasma Thermal Spray, with an experience of 28 years in thermal spray technology, provides complete solution of surface technology and thermal spray products. The process of plasma spraying uses a plasma forming gas (usually either argon or nitrogen) as both the heat source and the propelling agent for the coating. A high-voltage arc struck between an anode and cathode within a specially designed spray gun excites the plasma gas by ionisation. The excited gas is forced through a convergent/drive gent nozzle. Powdered spray material is injected into the hot plasma stream, in which it is melted and projected at high velocities onto a prepared substrate. The resulted coatings are strongly bonded and have exceptionally high integrity.
