Light Emitting Paints

Indra Technologies offers Light Emitting Paints. The paint possesses a very unique property and can glow in darkness. The emitted light is quiet bright & illuminates for as much as eight hours. These light emitting paints are in the form of colour transparencies. These are very convenient to apply. The user sticks the transparency to the surface and sprays the chemical on the transparencies. After a few minutes the release paper is peeled off and the paint is transferred to the surface. These can be applied to any smooth surface like concrete, POP, masonry wall, metal, wood, etc. These paints find applications in various fields like construction, interior decoration, housing & commercial complex, roads, path marking, lane marking, signage, bridges, stadium & auditoriums, hoardings, military, etc. These paints offer quiet a large saving on lighting & illumination. Hoardings made from light emitting paints reduce requirement of illumination by halogen lamp. The fencings & compound walls offer higher visibility in dark. These acts like powerless emergency lamp in organizations like chemical plants, shopping malls, warehouse, hotels & hospitals. Trucks, coaches & containers painted with light emitting paints reduce quiet a lot of dependency on tail lamps & side lamps. These light emitting paints are manufactured from rare earth minerals. They get charged with incident light & illuminate in the dark. The incident light source can be anything like solar light, tube light, bulb, etc. The brightness of the emitted light is high enough to be detected by naked eyes e.g. an area of 100sq.ft. These illuminate as much as one candle. They glow up to eight to ten hours. These paints are available in two shades such as green & blue. In the daytime it has off-white shade. The light emitting effect does not get reduced over a prolonged period. The emitted light is absolutely safe. The painted surface is as washable as any normal paint. Different types of transparent overcoats can be applied over these paints to obtain hard surface.
