Epoxy/PU Floor Coatings

Shivshakti Paints, an ISO 9001: 2008 certified company, offers floor coatings based on Epoxy/PU Floor Coatings and a combination of both as per need of customers. The coatings provide: excellent adhesion; abrasion resistance; chemical resistance; and excellent self-levelling. These systems offer the highest abrasion resistance against wear and tear. Floor coating are laid to set monolithic, seamless flooring, which is anti fungal and anti bacterial in nature. These coatings can be used after 48 hours of curing. Once the basic system is laid, a preventive maintenance coat may be given after every 2 years. The floor coating is carried out by the following process:

• Cleaning the surface and making it free from oil, old paint on dirt
• Surface preparation by grinding the surface
• Applying primer over the prepared surface
• Application of screed (sand and resin mixture)
• Application of sealer coat over the screed surface
• Final application of self-levelling epoxy or PU coating system as per RAL shade card
