Electroless Nickel Plating

Silvax Process offers Electroless Nickel Plating (ENP) services. ENP is a chemical plating process in which deposition take place by way of dipping, i.e., auto catalytically. Since the process requires no electric current thus the result is a very uniform coating in each and every area of the job (like a blind holes, threads, channels, recesses or internal areas receive the same amount of plating as sharp corners, edges or flat surfaces). Thus plating ovality can be occur within 5 microns so that post grinding of machining to size can be eliminated. Features: uniform deposition; corrosion resistant; high hardness (45-70 HRC); abrasion resistant; low friction and wear characteristic; quick release properties; conductivity; solderability, bondability; weldability; diffusion barrier; brazeability; compressive stress, good properties; non magnetic or magnetic deposits; and finish – bright as well as dull (matt).
