Dip Coating

Dürr Ecoclean India offers RoDip M – a mechanically driven Dip Coating with an efficient chain drive. The main characteristic of the RoDip M variant is the chain drive, on both sides, which pulls the rotation carrier through the process line. The RoDip M carrier is fitted with a lever that runs on fixed cams, thus allowing either a linear or rotary movement. Special V-cams guide the rotation of the rotating carrier through the tank. With Ecopaint RoDip E the car bodies are transported through the process by means of freely programmable, independently powered transport units. The unit has a conveying drive and a separate drive for rotation. The transport unit is positioned via a path measuring system. A WLAN signal is used to communicate with the controls. Applications: which of the two models to use depends mainly on capacity and flexibility requirements. Both technologies can be used for plant capacities of up to approximately 100 units per hour. The RoDip variants differ economically depending on their production rates. The robust, mechanical Ecopaint RoDip M is more suitable for high production rates over 40 units per hour (uph) while the electric Ecopaint RoDip E is better for medium and smaller rates under 40 uph.
