Degassing Powder Coating

Rapid Coat offers Degassing Powders. The Phenomenon of pin holing in powder coatings applied over hot dip galvanized surfaces has been identified as the most serious problem associated with coating integrity. Rapid Coat develop systems that minimizes or eliminates pin holing. Additives included in the degassing grades of coating delay the onset of fusion of the powder, which gives more time for entrained gas from the molten polymer film.
