Drive Technologies offers HumiSeal – a range of Conformal Coatings deployed in ever increasing applications across a wide range of market sectors. This is manufactured by Chase Electronic Coatings, an operating division of Chase Corporation. The conformal coatings, from all chemistries, including acrylics, urethanes and silicones, both water based and UV curable, meet the requirements of protecting the electronics employed by various industries in their products and machines. In the auto industry, and automobiles, given the extremely remote, or hard to reach installations electronic installations like various sensors, processors, etc, HumiSeal coatings offer a protective coating that saves from various elements that could lower the service life of critical components – electronics especially, which are susceptible to water, dust, etc. The acrylic coatings offer ease of application, removal and forging nature. Acrylics dry rapidly, reaching optimum physical properties in minutes, are fungus resistant and provide long pot life. Acrylics give off little, or not heat during cure, eliminating potential damage to heat sensitive components. They do not shrink, during cure and have humidity resistance, and exhibit low glass transition temperatures.
