Conformal coating system

Bangalore-based Avasarala Automation, a multi activity company, has launched a new product, Conformal Coating Systems, for printed circuit assemblies under technology transfer agreement from Indian Space Research Organisation, Bangalore. This specialty coating system is being introduced in the country for the first time using polymer deposition process under controlled atmosphere. The conformal coating on printed circuit assemblies gives protection against moisture and corrosive environment. The coating material dimmer, which is in powder form, is charged at room temperature into the deposition chamber. Coating is carried out with controlled coating rate and thickness of the coating. Conformal coating has distinct application in aerospace, automotive, electronics, electro medical and defence applications. The system is built with modular concept providing continuous process monitoring through PLC controls.
