Bohle Film Coater, BFC-5

The BFC 5 is a mobile laboratory coater for pharmaceutical film coating applications. Electrical power and compressed air are the only required utilities for operation. The air handling system and all controls are integrated in the machine body. The core of the system is the perforated coating pan. The spiral shaped carrier (designed as a double helix) ensures that the tablet bed moves smoothly. The pan inclination is adjustable, an ideal prerequisite for taking into account different tablet shapes and sizes during processing. The mixing behaviour of the tablet bed can be optimised in each case by the adjustable angle of inclination. Twin formation and spray drying are practically eliminated due to the effective mixing and special airflow system. The system design meets all internationally relevant GMP-standards. The software is compliant to 21 CFR, Part 11 (optional).
