Big Foot’s high-friction surface reduces workplace accidents by providing an anti-slip surface in industrial environments where slips and falls potential hazard. Superior in performance and durability to other anti-slip solutions, Big Foot actually alters the floor surface, providing long lasting protection. Big Foot alters the slippery surface through its unique friction-fighting technology called traction enhancement. Big Foot formulas provide a unique profile of peaks and valleys when applied to any surface. Water and other contaminants get trapped in the valleys, while exposed peaks provide for higher traction profile. Both pedestrian and vehicular grade Big Foot coatings are designed to provide coefficient of friction (COF) values of at least 1 and above for dry and wet rubber (tested as per ASTM F609) – much higher than COF of 0.5 most safety norms recommend. And because of Big Foot’s extreme durability, the surface retains its high traction profile longer than any other anti-slip treatment-up to five times longer than stand in-paint. Big Foot heavy-duty pedestrian grade: this single component floor coating is ideal for areas with heavy pedestrian or light rolling traffic. Recommended for ramps, walkways, locker rooms, stairs and assembly areas. Big Foot vehicular grade: a two-component system, vehicular grade is designed to withstand even the heaviest rolling equipment traffic. This high performance coating resists liquids as harsh as jet fuels and hydraulic fluids. Its superior adhesion forms a solid bond to metal, wood and concrete.
