Mangalam Industrial Products offers 80-85 % Alumina Ceramic Plates of 50 x 50 mm size in 15 or 20 or 25 mm thickness. The specific gravity is 3.2 and hardness 8 on Moh scale. Other sizes and thickness can be supplied. These are used for lining of metal hopper, piping, ducting, bends through which materials of abrasive nature like coal, ash, hard minerals, slurry, etc., are being transferred. The transfer process eats away the metal and hence ceramic lining helps protect the life. Many industrial applications require some of such plates.
