Ashless Anticorrosion Additive

Kaypan Vanijya Pvt Ltd offers an Ashless Anticorrosion Additive, Additive M 10310. This is an ashless, amine-free, high molecular weight anticorrosion additive based on natural raw materials. It shows outstanding anti corrosion properties in rapeseed oil, esters and mineral oil that exceed the properties of standard sodium, calcium or barium sulphonates. Additive M 310 also performs as a highly effective dewatering additive. Additionally, it exhibits high lubricity, antiwear and EP properties. It is less volatile than typically used metal sulphonates. Additive M 10310 is non staining and easily removable by solvents or mild alkaline cleaners/degreasers. Due to its water replacing properties, Additive M 10310 can even be used to improve the degreasability. The non-ionic structure of Additive M 10310 prevents the formulation of metal soaps in alkaline degreasers. Additive M10310 shows outstanding compatibility even with highly sensitive types of cataphoretic paints. Solubility: soluble in rapeseed oil, esters and most mineral oils. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base oils used and the compatibility with other additives. The composition is as follows: neutral synthetic sulfonic acid ester based on natural raw materials; appearance - dark brown liquid; viscosity at 40 degree celcius - approx 800 sq.mm/s; density at 20 degree celcius - approx 0.95 g/ml; flash point - less than 180 degree celcius; and mineral oil content - approx 10 percent weight. Applications: medium and long term rust preventative oils and emulsions, dewatering fluids, metal working fluids (cutting and forming processes), greases, mould release oils, environmentally friendly lubricants based on esters and rapeseed oil.
