Additives

Kalpena Industries manufactures Additives in two types: UV Master Batch and Anti-oxidant master batch Additives. These are used for all types of Moulded and Extruded Plastic products. The UV master batch is a high molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) master batch based on polyolefin. It contains blends of stabilizers dispersed in the polymer matrix in a state-of-the-art plant to give excellent performance in extreme climatic conditions. To get best results in case of extrusion, it is advisable to use volumetric feeder, or to pre blend master batches and polymer in a tumbler or high-speed mixer before feeding in a hopper. In case of direct addition into the hopper, care should be taken of thorough physical mixing.
Anti-oxidant master batch, based on Low Density Polyethylene, Hindard Phenol along with special process additives, are used in compound to provide protection against thermal degradation of polymer during process and improves the product performance in the long-term application.
