Detection Instruments offer Volatile Organic Compound Detectors. VOCs can be measured from ppm to ppb levels. It offers optimum performance and is highly reliable. The detectors are available in different versions like: 1) Portable detectors (for personnel safety) - the detectors are capable of gathering part-per-billion readings with a device the size of a cellular pager; while products are available that can gather four gases at a time, this has the ability to gather five gases at an instance - can detect flammable, toxic, oxygen and VOC gases at an instance; 2) Wireless integration (for plant monitoring - solar powered without cabling) - equipment collects data and transmits it from a remote location to a centralised location for analysis. This can be done not only for a single detector but also for number of detectors at a time and from a distance of around 2 miles; 3) Fixed detectors (for plant monitoring - electrically powered with cabling) - it is a permanently mounted photo ionisation detector that provides an output of 4-20 mA in three full scale ranges of 20, 100 and 1000 ppm, housed in an explosion proof enclosure and equipped with a local digital display of the gas concentration and functional keys for performing calibration.
