Vision Sensors

Banner Engineering offers Vision Sensor, Presenceplus 4. This sensor inspects for features regardless of product orientation or position, eliminating costly and complex mechanical fixturing. It is easy to set up and operate. This is a compact, self-contained sensor that can be mounted directly at the inspection site, without a separate controller or PC. Applications: detecting part presence or absence, inspecting for full cases, rejecting incorrect parts, verifying correct labels and reading bar codes. The P4 family of vision sensors includes the P4 GEO, which is ideal for label alignment, correct part and label verification, and component inspection; the P4 EDGE, for part alignment and container fill level, parts presence or absence, and assembly and complete assembly inspection; and the BCR, a one- and two-dimensional bar code reader, for verifying presence, placement, content and orientation.
