Masibus Automation & Instrumentation offers a Vibration Transmitter, VT7S10. This is a strategic tool for predictive maintenance. It provides on-line vibration monitoring and easy communication to data acquisition system where vibration can be displayed, trended and alarm can be generated. Features: vibration transmitter reads signal from high temperature accelerometer and transmits output 4-20 mA on loop power proportional to vibration; measurement of overall vibration in rotating machines; and vibration transmitter generates analog output, which is connected to plants instrumentation and control systems like RTU/PLC/DCS. Specification: velocity range – 0-12.5, 0-25, 0-50 mm/sec (factory selectable); frequency range – 10 Hz to 1 kHz; excitation voltage – 19-30 V DC; vibration is measured in terms of RMS and peak to peak; g value is possible; range can be re-calibrated; sensor temperature up to 150ºC; and temperature range – -40ºC to 50ºC.
