UV & IR Flame Detector

Agni Controls offers Fladet IH224 series flame detectors that are UV and IR type. Fladet IH224S-UF is explosion proof ultra violet and infrared combined flame detector with IP-66 protection. The detector makes use of infrared sensitive photoelectric sensor for detection of flame. IR has a narrow spectral sensitivity of 3 to 5 µm, insensitive to visible light. The detector also makes use of ultra violet sensitive photo cathode for detection of flame. It has a narrow spectral sensitivity of 185 to 260 nm, insensitive to visible light and solar radiation. If both UV and IR sensors detect fire simultaneously, detector gives fire indication, otherwise it gives only alert indication. It can be connected to any standard fire alarm panel or to any annunciator or PLC or DCS through the potential free ‘NO/NC’ contacts provided. In-built red LED is also provided for visible indication in case of fire situation. In-built flickering green LED indicates normal condition of the detector. In-built yellow LED indicates alert
