ULTRASONIC SENSORS

Shiva Electronics manufactures Ultrasonic Sensors, Mini-A10. It is self-contained compact design, with excellent receive sensitivity, operating with 50 kHz electrostatic transducers and with integrated SMT electronic circuitry. It has a sensing range of maximum 40 feet. Supply voltage is 12 V DC/ 24 V DC. It can continuously sense at a 10 Hz rate. Accuracy over entire range is 0.1%. Operating temperature range is -40 to 85°C. It gives analogue voltage output of 0-5 or 0-10 V DC. It is a switch and has two settings for high level and low level. This model has two NPN outputs to operate relays at high level and low level. It is very easy to mount, tune and use. It is suitable for applications like distance measurement, level measurement and control, presence/ proximity detection and robotics.
