New from TURCK Inc, the Q30 ultrasonic sensor has a single transducer that is used as both the emitter and receiver. A six-degtee sonic cone allows for small object, long distance detection in small areas, independent of colour and material. Long sensing windows provide detection from 6 to 30 cm for close range or 20 to 100 cm for distant objects. An adjustable operating range width ensures background suppression. Features include high noise immunity and solid, fluid, granular, or textile object detection. The Q30 is for applications such as sensing highly reflective targets and providing liquid level control over long distances.
