Transducers For Industrial Automation

Orbital Systems offers transducers for industrial automation which are used for precision measurement. Manufactured by Elap SpA, Italy, these transducers are of the highest quality and carry the CE certificate. The range includes rotary encoders, rotary potentiometers, linear transducers and optical scales. These, along with non contact position sensors, ifra-red sensors and wire rope transducers, provide the user a variety of options for measurement. Microprocessor based position controllers and counter units along with flexible couplings complete the range of allied products for precision measurement and controls. Rotary encoders are available from 2 PPR up to 25,000 PPR in a variety of packages such as miniature, standard servo or square flange type and hollow shaft versions. Rotary and linear potentiometers are made of conductive plastic element and offer high linearity besides long life and durability. Rotary potentionmeters are available in single or multi-turn in standard or servo packages and are low cost items. Linear pots come in range from 25 mm up to 1000 mm. Linear transducers and optical scales are extremely rugged units, available up to 0.5 micron resolution.
