Trans-Tek's Series 240 line of LVDTs is designed with an integral oscillator/demodulator to provide DC-in/DC-out operation. The units are available in displacement ranges from ?0.05"to ?4.0"with maximum non-linearity available to 0.25% full scale. The high level output voltage is proportional to the input voltage, and can be used directly in PLCs, A/D boards, digital multimeters, or data loggers. Typical applications range from OEM use as the sensing element in load cells, to the end user who employs the units routinely in laboratory experiments.
