Transducer

New from UniMeasure, the LX-EP Series transducer has digital output for the measurement of linear position. The unit has a corrosion-resistant thermoplastic body that is small in size, low in cost, and ideal for use in light to moderate duty, position measurement applications. The electrical output is a 2-channel digital square wave in quadrature that allows easy interface to TIL compatible devices such as displays, data acquisition units, and PLCS. The transducer is actuated by extending a stainless steel wire rope that is maintained in constant tension by an internal spring that also serves as the retraction mechanism.
