Tension/Compression Force Transducers, 500 kN

The new series of compact tension/compression force transducers has once again been extended for measuring ranges up to 500 kN. An enhancement of the 3550 series, this new series of compact tension/compression force transducers has been brought onto the market in the past year by tecsis. The original load stages between 2 and 50 kN have now been extended up to 500 kN. The range of application is also significantly expanded as a result. In addition to the applications as a torque brace or in testing machines, applications in heavy machinery can also now be developed. At the heart of this force transducer is the tecsis thin-film sensor. This unique, innovative technology guarantees robust force transducers with long-term stability. By virtue of their high self-resonance, good transient response and very small measuring distance, the tension/compression force transducers are equally suitable for both static and dynamic applications. The accuracy is 0.2% of the final value. Choice of integrated amplifier electronics is 4...20 mA or 0...10V. The output signal can thus be utilised for direct further processing in an SPC or PC.
