Temperature Transmitter, 2-Wire

Radix Microsystems offers TX1HM, a high performance 2-wire, head-mounted temperature transmitter. It accepts a Pt100, 3-wire RTD input and generates a selectable 4~20/20~4 mA temperature linear output. TX1HM has 8 span ranges covering 25?C to 600?C and 4 zero ranges covering -102?C to +73?C. ?Fine? Zero/Span potentiometers are provided for calibration. It has a low loop drop of only 6.5 V and can be operated with a 6.5 to 32 V DC loop supply. A load of 800 W can be connected at 24 V DC. It has an accuracy of ?0.1% of span (?16 mA) and a low temperature effect on accuracy of 0.5% for a change of 25?C in ambient. All selections are made using solder jumpers. The flat, low-profile design gives easy access to terminals and adjustments. The large central hole lets the lead wires or an insert tube pass easily. TX1HM is housed in a sealed metal enclosure of 43 mm dia, suitable for mounting in a standard thermocouple head. A DIN rail version with thermocouple and RTD inputs is also available.
