Banner Engineering Corp., has introduces the World-Beam® Q20FF fixed-field background suppression sensor to the company’s line of compact photoelectric sensors. Offering the same high performance standards as other Banner sensors, the Q20FF delivers enhanced sensing capabilities with visible red, fixed field background suppression and a sensing range up to 6 inches (150 mm). With the Q20FF, Banner’s Q20 sensor series can now solve an increased number of sensing applications in a variety of industries, such as material handling, robot assembly, food and beverage and pharmaceutical goods. The World-Beam Q20 series offers a complete product line of high performance sensors in rectangular housings. The Q20FF adds to this growing series, providing superior optical performance in a worldwide standard sensor housing with 25.4 mm (1 inch) mounting hole spacing. Models are available with 2, 4, or 6 inch sensing ranges.
