Sensor For Moisture Content In Oil

Renake Sales & Services offers a Sensor designed for sensing Moisture Content in Oil. Online measurement of water/moisture content in oil is essential for long term performance and adaptive maintenance of plant and machinery. Moisture affects dramatically the insulation characteristics of electrical transformer oil and therefore online continuous monitoring of the situation is important. The water/moisture level value can be described in PPM by this EE make sensor transmitter, by installing it directly in oil and pressure up to 10 bar. EE 36 model comes with and without display and extended probe up to 10 mtr cable length sensor and can withstand temperature from -40 to +180°C with output signal in current or voltage. The range measured up to 1000 ppm, both temperature and PPM values output signals are in 4-20 mA, 0-10 V DC, 0-5 V DC, etc. Sensing probe can be installed online by fitting a pipe with T connection and it works on 24 V DC or optionally 100 to 240 V AC (50 Hz). With a sensor transducer one can connect indicator with alarm system and record the continuous monitoring with the help of recorders/data loggers, through which attaching to Internet or GSM/GPRS is also possible.
