Remote Power Transducer with Serial Communications

The intelligent remote power transducer (Model RPT-091) comes along with serial communications. This compact DIN rail panel mounted power transducer measures all the electrical parameters. The measured electrical parameter values are transmitted via the serial communications port (RS-232 or RS-485). Various communication protocols, eg, ASCII, MODBUS are available as standard. The power transducer (RPT 091) measures three phase voltages , three phase currents , kW, kVA, PF, kWH, kVAH, kVARH, Hz, Amps, Maximum demand. Two optional relay outputs are also provided for alarm/control functions or pulsing output for energy. Multiplexed analogue output is also available for providing analogue signals (4-20 mA or 0-20 mA) to external meters or PLC. All inputs and outputs to this microprocessor based transducer are galvanically isolated. The power transducer has isolated serial interface RS-232/RS-485 as standard. These power meters can be used for collecting electrical parameters from remote sites. Software required for logging data Iron the power transducers is also available.
