Rac Series Flat Type Sensor

MRK Engineers have developed RAC Series Flat type Sensors. These will replace imported sensors which are presently used by textile and other industries in India. In principle, a sensor switch comprises of a high frequency oscillator circuit followed by a level detector circuit, and drives a buffered solid state output. In effect, the metallic object is brought within the effective range of the emitted field of the oscillator, a damping action results, which reduces the amplitude of the oscillator. This amplitude shift is converted to a digital signal by the level detection which drives a buffer stage. When the object is removed, the oscillator and the digital output is turned to its former state. These are available in DC, 10-30 V, with NPN/PNP configuration having sensing ranges of 6 mm max in synthetic box. Other range of inductive, capacitive, magnetic and IR sensors is also available.
