Print Mark Sensor With Teach-In Function

Proximon, an ISO 9001 certified design and manufacturing house, offers a print mark sensor with teach-in function. This is designed for sensing Registration Mark. It continuously scans the presence of contrast mark on moving packaging (plastic/paper) film. The electronic circuit is capable of detecting any contrast colour with scanning rate of 2000 packages/minute making it suitable for any type of packaging machine including candy-packing machines. A modulated white LED is focused on moving packaging film. With teach-in function, the user has to press Scan Key (a feather touch key), keeping white spot light on mark colour as well as on background colour and within 2-3 sec both colours will get registered in memory. The electronic scanning circuit then differentiate two signals and gives output on detection of the registration mark. The operating voltage is 10-30 V DC with NPN/PNP transistorised output, which can be coupled to logic controllers/PLCs. Forward/reverse logic controller is also provided to keep correct pouch/bag length by driving correction motor (110 V AC, 4 wire) or (230 V AC, 3 wire).
