In applications like water jet cutting or autofrettage extremely high pressures up to 10,000 bar are needed. The new P3298 pressure sensor from tecsis has been developed to guarantee a reliable measurement of such high pressures. This thin film sensor is available with measurement ranges from 0...1,600 bar up to 0...10,000 bar. The housing and all wetted parts are made of stainless steel. The sensor therefore can resist corrosion and aggressive media. On the output the user can choose between 4...20 mA (two-wire connection) or DC 0...10 V (three-wire connection). The pressure connection is also available in various versions. The pressure sensor can be used in a very flexible way, as the pressure connection can be exchanged easily.
