New from Dresser Industries, the V Series pressure transducers use a fused-silicon strain-gauge technology to provide linearity, repeatability, high proof and burst pressure tolerance, and temperature capability from 40 to 250?F. Applications include refrigeration compressors, fuel management systems, automotive adaptive/active suspensions, hydrostatic transmissions, antilock braking systems, and oil-pressure sensing systems. They are virtually unaffected by shock, vibration, mounting position, or pressure pulsation. The pressure sensing element and the process connection are a one-piece construction with no weld joints, epoxies, or organic materials.
