Victory Gas Alarm Company offers a Portable Gas Detector, Model GT 01. This is hand held gas detector with meter/without meter. Specification: for measuring of combustible gases (hydro carbons); size – 25 x 65 x 145 mm (±5%); weight – 400 gm (with rechargeable batteries in-built) approx; battery – Ni-Cd or 6 V regulated external power supply; operating temperature – 5(C to 50(C; sampling – aspirator assembly; display – analog meter with 3 zone mark for easy identification with buzzer for dial indication and indicator light; alarm – provided (factory set) for gas concentration in unacceptable level; and indication – i) low battery, ii) watt, ready and alarm indication. The company’s main objective in research and development is to have highly advanced semi-conductor technology for safety and security items. It is the first in India to have a patent for gas detectors and has been serving Indian Railways, defence, petrochemicals and other industries. It has also developed electronic moisture meter based on Nano technology, which is the most improved technology in the world.
