EG&G offers ceramic substrate piezoresistive sensor for high volume, invasive, disposable, blood pressure measurement applications. Front side pressure entry minimises overpressure stress. Silver bond pads on the ceramic facilitate a bond with solder connections and polycarbonate gel cup facilitates attachment. Individual bar coding provides manufacturing traceability and the sensor meets all American Association of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) Standards.
