Photoelectric Through Beam Sensor (with 4-Pin Connector)


Infrared photoelectric through beam sensors are available for various applications. A typical unit is built-in amplifier type having infrared emitter, receiver and amplifier in ABS plastic housing or brass metallic housing with 4-pin connector (male + female). Transmitter and receivers are separate. The required supply voltage is 10 to 24 V DC, sensing is obtained from a distance of 1 metre to 14 metres. Models are available with PNP/NPN output with NO or NC, and short circuit protection and reverse polarity protection are provided. With new developments it has become very easy to replace the switch as there is no need to replace the whole wire of switch/sensor. A switch can now be replaced within a minute, so that the down time is drastically reduced.
