Photoelectric Laser Sensor

Schneider Electric’s Sensors-Business Development offers Photoelectric Laser Sensor, OsiSense XUE, for distance measurement applications. In industry, distance monitoring is required for positioning and stopping machine movements. OsiSense XUE may be used to protect and bring process efficiency in application such as automated warehouse positioning, anti-collision detection or rolls diameter monitoring.
This is for reliable and precise measuring with high accuracy (within a few millimetres) that enable:

• Detection of objects with background suppression at a distance of 6 m
• Monitoring and measuring (at 30 m or 6 m) using a single product due to its 3 programmable outputs (2 digital outputs and 1 analogue output)
• Limited risk in operation with laser class 1 transmission
• Guaranteed operation in difficult environments with IP67 certification
• Ease of selection, mounting and adjustment
• Simple selection between 2 references, depending on application (Distance monitoring of object or monitoring distance of reflector)
• Simplified alignment using visible red laser pointer for viewing the measuring point
• Intuitive adjustment interface, integrated in product, for configuring application using 2 “teach” buttons.
