Kistler-Morse Automation Limited (KMAL) has been a solution provider in the field of weight and level catering to the needs of process control and inventory management. If one is tired of controls with tedious calibration procedures, that are difficult to install or that are in the shop more than they're in service, Pulse Point from Bindicator could be the answer. The pulse point will sense solid, granular or powered materials, up to 9/16" (14.3 mm) and also at a low density as low as 32 kg/m3. It can be mounted on bin-top or bin-side and will sense material on contact with the fork. Special liquid/solid interface units will not sense liquid, but will sense the presence of submerged solids like sand, clay, plastic resins, and carbon granules. These options can be used to empty bins when sediment level of submerged solids. It is however not intended to detect turbid water or slurries.
