Mark Sensors

PG Electronics now has, with Mark Sensors – Series EC 501, ranges of sensors that sense or discriminate a mark or colour spot in practically any background material. In order to register the mark on a running web, visible light is trained and aligned in the direction in which the printed spot or colour mark is running. One can also select the sensor in line with one's requirement. A detector is housed in the same enclosure, which incorporates the light emitter and other electronic components and control elements. The sensor gives a solid state output, when it sights the mark, simultaneously giving an LED indication. The polycarbonate enclosure B-20 offers a tough protection to the sensor with provision of two holes to facilitate mounting. Three-core cable is provided with stress reliever at the exit.Sensor types: ECR 501 – with visible red spot, suitable for detection of black, green, blue or dark mark on any light colour or white background; ECR 501 – with green visible spot, suitable for detection of red, orange, blue mark on any light coloured or white background; and ECU 501 – universal sensors which can detect or discriminate any two colours. The sensors ECR 501 and ECG 501 have wider ranges available for sensitivity adjustments while the universal sensor ECU 501 has a close range for setting.
