Linear Scales

Rotolinear Systems offer linear position transducers (magnetostrictive principle) for industrial applications. The resolution is 0.04% of FS typical non-linearity and resolution up to 1 micron. Features and benefits: extended work life advantage by using heavy mechanical construction, wear free measuring principle, resistant to shocks and vibration and high protection class (IP 67); absolute position signals, i.e., no need to reset in case of electricity shot down; stroke length 50 mm to 4 metres; different housing styles to suit most of the application; and signal output to interface to virtually any control system. Some of the applications are: pitch control on windmill blades, high performance liquid level feedback for dosing application, metal cutting or machine tool for axis positioning, control valve positioning, hydraulic cylinder position feedback, etc.
