Linear Distance Transducers

Pot-Tech Electronics offers Linear Distance Transducer. This is used for linear distance measurement using own technology, design and draw wire technology, where in a flexible stainless steel wire is wound on spring loaded drum. The use of flexible yet strong stainless steel wire rope for actuating, offers relaxation from absolute alignment of moving object with transducer. This is designed to measure distance from a few centimetres to few hundred metres. The transducer output can be either potentiometer for resistive or encoder for digital. Applications: lift floor adjustment, arms movement of robots, automobile, hydraulics, pneumatics, motion control system, rail/road traction or level inspection, forklift, scissor lift, palate lift, dam gate or flow valve opening indicator, machinery, power press, press brakes, automobile washing platforms and virtually every place where the object movement measurement is required to be measured or automated.
