Omron Asia Pacific offers Leakage Detectors, K7L. It can detect liquids with impedance as high as 50 MO. It enables detection of IPA (isopropyl alcohol) and pure water. It eliminates hazardous spills. Its polyethylene sensing band boasts a high degree of chemical resistance to both acidic and alkaline liquids. It incorporates a noise canceller circuit by utilising a 3-conductor cable at the junction of the sensing band and the sensor amplifier. It internally oscillates an AC signal to the sensing band to protect against electric corrosion and because the power supply circuit and detection circuit are isolated, several amplifiers can be installed on the same surface. Its polyethylene-sensing band is specified for -15 to 55°C operation, there are seven available lengths from 1 m to 50 m. It is 46 x 28.8 x 12.8 mm. It has a rated supply voltage of 12 to 24 V DC and an NPN transistor output of 100mA at 30 VDC, which upon detection of liquid can be configured to either turn on or off. There are two available versions of the sensor amplifier, the K7L-AT50 and the K7L-AT50D.
