Coiltek, USA, introduces ultra position transducers with microprocessor based intelligent control system. The CS-6001 uses the ultrasonic echo technology to measure the distance of the target after emitting a burst of coded echo energy. The CS-6001 listens to the echo which bounces off the target. Then, from the total time taken by the acoustic signal, CS-6001 calculates the target position at least 30 to 50 times per second. The obtained data is then further processed to generate electrical outputs related to the position of the target. The coded sound generated by CS-6001 is unaffected by industrial noises.
