The Infrared Photoelectric Switch is built-in amplifier type having infrared emitter, receiver and amplifier in robust die-cast ABS plastic housing. Transmitter and receiver are separate. Required supply voltage is 10 to 24 V DC. Sensing range obtained is 3 m. Sensing range varies from1 m to 10 m for different models. Different models are available with front or side or top sensing arrangements and with PNP or PN output with normally open/normally closed logic selection. Short-circuit protection and reverse polarity protection are provided. All solid-state construction gives a long maintenance free life. Models are available with plate brass housing also.
The switch has wide application in non-contact sensing, switching, controlling and regulating in various processes, plants, machines, machine tools, etc, for automation and control. It is also very useful for textile and pharmaceutical industries.
